Sebastian Strange writes adventure and horror novels for kids. Born in 1887, Sebastian was frozen in a state of suspended animation while exploring the lost city of Atlantis in 1903. Revived in 2025, he published his first novel, “The Vetala Zone”, and the rest is mystery. I mean history.

Sebastian Strange lives on a farm in Georgetown, Kentucky, with his wife and assorted furry supporting characters. He was previously employed as a software engineer, furniture mover, fast food fry cook, and international man of mystery. Strange’s short fiction has appeared (sometimes under the name David Jarvis) in Black Cat Weekly, Red Herring Mystery Magazine, Orchard Press, Hobson’s Choice, and Nefarious Tales of Mystery. He enjoys traveling, playing guitar, and spending time with the lights of his life: his beautiful wife, Georgeanna, his wonderful daughters, Danielle, Rebekah, and Savannah, and his brilliant grandchildren.

When writing Young Adult and Mystery/Thrillers, Sebastian writes as David Jarvis.
